About Suanne Lewis

Dr. Suanne Lewis is a psychologist, author, speaker, and therapist of many years. She is a wife, mother, dog mom, certified yoga and T’ai Chi Chih instructor, and avid animal lover. She just finished her second novel (Disappearance at Sycamore Grove: A Journey of Courage, Forgiveness, and Acceptance). Solving a mystery leads to growth, forgiveness, and acceptance for its main characters, and adds some humor and romance for a bit of spice.

Suanne writes about finding the extraordinary in the mundane (Baxter Tales: Personally Transformed by A Basset Hound Who Taught Me About Coping with Change).

She continues to using her storytelling techniques to design quirky teaching tales that promote parent-to-child communication skills to build conversation and open relationships (Do You Know How to Talk with Your Young Child? Learn the 4 Step Approach to Converse and Connect).

In her first novel, Suanne's characters, grappling with bullying, family discord, and secret-keeping, find that friendship and community support are important keys to courage and resiliency.
