Hello Folks,
I’ve finished the first draft of my new novel, which is both a combination of cozy mystery and YA literary fiction. I hope you’ll like it. I think it hits important social concepts the world seems to be struggling with now: kindness, trust and cooperation. I’m working with 100 Covers for the front cover and will share that with you soon, hopefully.

Trouble at OverTrails Farm: A Journey of Challenge, Persistence, and Acceptance by Suanne Lewis is a clean, cozy mystery set in a therapeutic riding stable near a small, charming, rural town in central Virginia. It features a supportive group of teenage friends who investigate the untimely death of a young stable employee, whose death is being blamed on a disabled volunteer, a former student of the riding program.
The book is an engaging mystery focused on the effects of bias, and the benefits of loyal friendship. It explores the concepts of family discord, self-awareness, and the strength of community.
An Update on My Buddy, Calliope Jane

Calli hasn’t been having her long morning walks with ice, snow and salt prevalent on the streets. Today, however, we went for a moderately long walk, and she celebrated all the wonderful smells of the wildlife that likes to run through our yard and stop at the small pond behind our house. The blue sky, puffy white clouds, and lack of bitter wind hinted at spring, although we’re due three more days of snow next week. Ah well … soon.
