My new book, Move Beyond Burnout: Self-Care for Those Who Never Stop Giving is currently on pre-order on Amazon. The paperback version will be published on 10-20-25.
I’m excited to have finished the writing, editing, and formatting of this book as it is a culmination of practices I’ve used, taught, and written about for decades. Simply put, the book is about the highlights of my self-care journey through life’s challenges.
Move Beyond Burnout is designed as a resource for busy people, committed to caring for many others, including children, spouses, parents, pets, work associates, and the world at large. I have experienced and observed that those who care for a vast array of folks, frequently tend to care for themselves last. For that reason, I’ve collected multiple self-care tips for lowering emotional stress, improving health and physical comfort, as well as upgrading midweek meals and emotional connection with significant others. The included tips typically take little time but have positive results. They are fun, relaxing, simple, and can be shared with loved ones if you wish.
I hope you’ll check out my new book and learn some new ways to relax and refresh!

Last week, I had my book signing for Disappearance at Sycamore Grove. The day was a beautiful, sunny, Fall day. I saw lots of visitors to Main Street Books and drew several coupons for local gift certificates. The certificates that were not picked up will be sent out to recipients within the week. Thank all of you for your support!
I've started outlining my next cozy mystery about Nina, Harry, and friends. This mystery features Alex, Nina's next door neighbor, and lifelong friend.
The final episode of "Gram's Story" will appear on my websites within the next several days. The senior center group finally hears about the last leg of Gram's journey from Sante Fe, New Mexico to Bellaire, Virginia. More to come!
